Manufacturer’s warranty

Many items — especially electronics, appliances and gadgets — come with a manufacturer’s or agent’s warranty. Where a product includes a warranty, the period and terms are set by the manufacturer or their local agent, and any warranty card or documentation will be included with your order.

Keep your invoice. Your Lino.lk order confirmation acts as your proof of purchase. Please keep it safe — you’ll usually need it, along with any warranty card, to make a warranty claim.

What’s covered by a manufacturer’s warranty?
Warranties typically cover manufacturing defects and faults arising under normal use. They generally do not cover physical or accidental damage, misuse, unauthorised repairs, or normal wear and tear. Exact terms vary by brand.
Is this different from your returns policy?
Yes. A faulty item on arrival is handled under our Returns & Refund Policy (report within 24 hours). A fault that develops later is handled under the manufacturer’s warranty, for as long as that warranty lasts.
Do all products have a warranty?
No — warranties mainly apply to electronics, appliances and similar items. If you’re unsure whether a product carries a warranty, just ask us before you buy.
